    LISZT, bust left / Blank. Edge: Plain.

     

    Niggl 1173. Mint State. Rich reddish-brown surfaces, with some scattered marks. An impressive sculpting.

     

    Born in the village of Doborján in the Kingdom of Hungary, Franz Liszt (1811-1886) was an extremely prolific composer and virtuoso, and both a friend to and promoter of many of his musical contemporaries. Some of his progressive ideas within the field include the symphonic poem, thematic transformation, and extreme departures in the area of harmony.
