    As Issued, lustrous golden-bronze surfaces, with a darker brown hue on the stippled recessed areas. Very rare and interesting piece of Judaica. Includes original box of issue.

     

    The first Reform Jewish congregation in New York City, the branch there has served as a pivotal congregation within Progressive Judaism since its founding in 1845. Located on 5th Avenue in the Upper East Side, the Temple Emanu-El features a distinctive rose window, represented here on the reverse of this unengraved honorary medal.
