    AUGUSTE TERRIER, bust left / COMITÉ DE L'AFRIQUE FRANÇAISE / FONDÉ in 1890 / LES AFRICAINS / DE FRANCE ET D'AFRIQUE / À AUGUSTE TERRIER / 1931 in six lines, view of Africa, Europe, and western Asia on a globe, focused upon Africa, with France and French colonial possessions highlighted by a cross-hatching. Edge: «triangle» BRONZE.


    Gem Mint State. Yellow-bronze surfaces, with a light matte nature.


    Auguste Terrier played an important role in African colonial affairs in the early part of the 20th century, serving as secretary general of the Committee of French Africa, director of the Chérifien Office in Morocco, and censor of the credit foncier of Algeria and Tunisia.
