Winged genius, with arms and wings spread, on knees right above locomotive pulling four cars right; three coats-of-arms to left, map outline of the railways to right; HALMSTAD NÄSSJÖ JÄRNVÄGAR in exergue / Blank. Edge: BRONS 1945.

 

Gem Mint State. Glossy chocolate brown surfaces, with great original brilliance.

 

The Halmstad-Nässjö Järnvägar railway company owned and operated numerous lines in Sweden during the late 19th and early-mid 20th centuries, before being bought by the state in 1945—the year in which this plaque was issued.
