1890-1902 German East African rupie, with engraving upon reverse: "S/4 No / 232686 / A S C / Supp / E AFRICA 1917 18 19" in five lines across field, with "SGt A C JARVIS" on diagonal band across field; all within decorative shield, with branch to left and right. Edge: Reeded.
