Icarus, nude save for attached wings, clinging to rocks within tempestuous seas; biplane flies above within radiant sky // · AERO · CLUB · DE · FRANCE ·, the Moirai (Three Fates: Clotho, Lachesis, and Atropos) floating above astrolabe; engraved in four lines on a panel below, "A / ROBERT BOITTELLE / RALLYE BALLONS / 1928." Edge: BRONZE «uncertain hallmark».
