Marqusee 235. Choice About Uncirculated. Some light rub on the high points and some breaks to the luster. A fairly scarce type.
Designed by Albert Leassle for his hometown expo in Philadelphia, this medal garnered him a gold medal for the design itself. The expo served as a celebration for the city of Philadelphia, and the United States in general, for the 150th anniversary, or sesquicentennial, of American independence.
