Head of Asclepius left; serpent-entwined staff to the left // ÉCOLE / DE MÉDECINE / DE PARIS in three lines; all within a serpentine ouroboros-style border. Edge: A minor bruise is noted for completeness, otherwise plain.

 

Cf. Bramsen 469 (for an issue dated year XIII [1804/5]). Mint State Lightly toned, with alluring iridescence and with some great lustrous brilliance.
