LA SAGESSE FIXE LA FORTUNE (wisdom aids in fortune), Athena/Minerva, resting hand upon shield, standing right and reaching out to Tyche, emptying cornucopia of coins and standing left; altar between them // BANQUE / DE / FRANCE / AN VIII in four lines within garlanded oak and laurel wreath. Edge: «hand».
Bramsen 29; Feuardent 4951; Julius 778. PCGS MS-63. Highly lustrous and prooflike, with some subtle toning present nearer the peripheries.
