Male and female half-length figures (the artist and his wife) embracing; anchor in background to right; all within roped border in the shape of hearts // The same two figures embracing; ship's helm in background to left, lantern to right; all within roped border in the shape of hearts. Edge: Some minor staining, otherwise plain.

 

Gem Mint State. Olive-brown surfaces. A very rare type serving as a self portrait of the artist and his wife (and muse).
