Bust facing slightly right; in background, flames and blood emerging from cracked façade; DONATIEN / ALPHONSE / FRANÇOIS / MARQUIS / DE SADE in five lines to left and below; 1740 / 1814 in two lines to right; Reverse: Nude female, with backside facing, crouching in dungeon; star with Russian imperial double eagle above; stars at bottom. Edge: 1969 «cornucopia» BRONZE.
