Born in 1771, Gustaf af Klint was a vice admiral in the Swedish navy as well as a cartographer, publishing maps such as his Hans Majt. Konungen egnas Sweriges Sjö-Atlas, which detailed waterways like the Gulf of Finland, the Gulf of Riga, and the Baltic Sea.
