BHM 432; Eimer 886; Mudie 5; Jones, William Wyon, 33. Choice Mint State. Rich chocolate brown surfaces, with intense lustrous brilliance; a minor corrosion spot on the obverse prevents an even higher designation $245.

 

In his magnificent opus on William Wyon and his wondrous art, Mark Jones notes that "...according to William Till, 'Wm. Wyon's reverse of Admiral Duncan's interview with the defeated Dutch Admiral, who is tendering his sword to the English commander, may be classed as one of the best in the series'."
