    Male warrior (the German Michel), nude except for cap, holding dagger and strangling hydra to right // VIEL FEIND, VIEL EHR, eagle standing facing, head left, with wings spread. Edge: C POELLATH   SCHROBENHAUSEN.

     

    Klose 3.3; Bernhart 111. Choice Mint State. Even tan-brown surfaces, with a pleasing matte aspect.
